1. My friend Nick prefers watching chat shows.

2. My mother prefers watching soup operas.

3. My father prefers watching live matches.

4. My sister prefers watching sitcoms.

5. My brother prefers watching quiz shows.

6. My friend Kate prefers watching news programmes.

7. My little son prefers watching cartoons.

8. My friend Lily prefers watching the Animal World.

9. My uncle Tom prefers watching talk shows.

T.: I will tell you what TV programmes I watched last week. Say that you didn’t watch this programme but you watched another one.

  3. On Monday I watched a live match. It was very exciting.

  4. I don’t like news. But on Friday I watched a very interesting news programme.

  5. Yesterday I watched animated cartoons. That was really funny.

  6. I like history very much. On Thursday I watched a historic epic film.

  7. I watched my favourite soap opera the day before yesterday.

  8. In the evening I watched a horror film. I slept badly at night.

  9. I watched a comedy on Tuesday. I liked it.

  10. On Wednesday I watched a musical film. I enjoyed it.

T.: Say what you are interested in and I will recommend you what programme to watch.

Model: P.: - I’m interested in football.

T.: - Then I advise you to watch a live match.

T.: Split into pairs. Student 1: Ask your partner what kind of TV programmes he likes watching. Student 2: Answer your partner’s question and ask him whether he feels like watching this programme.

Model: - What TV programme do you like watching?

- Oh, I like a game show. Do you feel like watching a game show too?
